Role-Based Access Control or RBAC provides a mechanism to control access to various funtionalities within the application itself. Users are assigned one or more roles based on their job function. Likewise, users cannot see menu items nor do they have access to the portions of the application that are not associated with their job functions or role.
MAX comes with a set of pre-defined roles. Menu items and users are each assigned one or more roles. System administrators can define additional roles as may be required for local requirements.
